Apples and oranges…

For those of you who understand some basic logic…
An apple is not orange! (apple ≠ orange) Can we agree on this? Let’s assume we can.
Not all “not an apple” are oranges. Or simply: if it is not an apple it does not automatically mean it is orange.
So far clear?
Let’s go one step further.
Bringing awareness to a lack of apples does not mean you will get oranges. Right? 🙄
So what follows next takes some mental gymnastics which is beyond me. 🤔🚀💪 However, somehow people jump to the conclusion that talking about missing apples will (automatically, by default, in every case) get you oranges. 🤔
Can anyone explain to me how do we get to this leap of faith conclusion?
